Land Development Company in New Mexico

As a land development company in New Mexico, we bring hands-on experience to the acquisition, entitlement, planning, and development of residential and master-planned communities. Since establishing Price Land Development Group in 2017, we have applied our development experience, industry knowledge, and modern analytics to projects throughout New Mexico. We have helped develop nearly 834 acres across the state, giving us firsthand experience with the decisions, coordination, and challenges involved in moving land from an initial opportunity toward a viable development.

New Mexico Land Development Experience

As a land development company in New Mexico, we have developed a portfolio spanning Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, and Santa Fe. Our project experience includes Aspire, Colibri, Entrada at High Range, Esencia, Jemez Vista at Mariposa, Los Diamantes, Monarch at Mariposa, The Charlie ABQ, and The Trails. Each project has involved its own combination of market considerations, land characteristics, entitlement requirements, and development objectives. This experience allows us to approach new opportunities with a practical understanding of how early development decisions can affect the feasibility and execution of a project.

Land Acquisition and Entitlement Services

As a land development company in New Mexico, we can assist with the early stages of development, including land assessment, acquisition, entitlement, planning, platting, and engineering. Our experience includes acquiring and preparing properties for residential development and coordinating the work required to advance projects through the entitlement process. For example, we acquired, designed, and entitled 101 acres for 232 lots at Colibri in Santa Fe, while Jemez Vista at Mariposa involved the acquisition and preparation of 41 lots before the land was sold to D.R. Horton. These experiences give us a direct understanding of the work required to prepare land for its next stage of development.

Master-Planned Community Development

As a land development company in New Mexico, we have experience with developments that extend beyond individual residential lots. Esencia in Santa Fe encompasses 277 acres and is entitled for 710 dwelling units, while Aspire encompasses 83 acres and 506 lots in southwest Albuquerque. Los Diamantes encompasses 174 acres and includes residential, mixed-use, and business park components. Working on projects of different sizes and development types has given us experience coordinating the various planning, entitlement, and development considerations that come with creating larger communities.

Construction Management and Development Consulting

As a land development company in New Mexico, our involvement can continue beyond acquisition and entitlement. We provide construction management and development consulting services that can include consultant coordination, cost analysis, cash flow projections, accounting and billing, and homebuilder negotiations and interface. Our work on The Charlie ABQ demonstrates this broader approach. For the 37-acre build-to-rent community in northwest Albuquerque, we assisted with site selection, buyer representation, entitlements, and pro forma preparation while also serving as construction manager for land development activities and Owner’s Representative during vertical construction.

A Development Partner With Local Experience

As a land development company in New Mexico, we understand that successful development requires more than identifying a piece of land with potential. It requires careful evaluation, strategic planning, coordination with the appropriate parties, and informed decisions throughout the development process. Our experience across Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, and Santa Fe allows us to bring local market knowledge and firsthand development experience to each opportunity. Whether we are evaluating an acquisition, working through entitlements, preparing a property for development, or managing construction activities, we remain focused on creating well-planned projects and long-term value.
