Aspire
Aspire is an 83-acre master-planned development bringing 506 much-needed homes to Albuquerque’s Southwest Mesa—an area historically underserved by new housing. With over seven acres of parks, landscaped areas, and community gardens, Aspire offers residents a connected, family-friendly environment anchored by thoughtful design and lasting value. Originally stalled in the wake of the Great Recession, the site was acquired by Price Land Development Group in 2018 and revitalized through a strategic partnership with DR Horton, the nation’s largest homebuilder.
Since launching in 2021, Aspire has become one of the most successful residential communities in the region. With 349 individuals now calling it home and an average sales pace of 10.4 homes per month since April 2022, Aspire has been named Zonda’s Top Active Project in the Albuquerque MSA for two consecutive quarters and has consistently been a top performing community. Its standout Sales Rates—well above the regional average—underscore the market demand for well-planned, affordable housing in this submarket.
Aspire’s success is rooted in its commitment to quality, security, and affordability. Unique features include community gardens throughout all phases, a central park designed for events and food trucks, and four gated entrances for added safety. By establishing the Southwest Mesa’s first Public Improvement District (PID), the Developer kept finished lot prices accessible—empowering DR Horton to offer attractively priced homes for young families and empty nesters alike.
Aspire’s success and positive impact on the residential real-estate development community was further acknowledged by being the recipient of the 2024 NAIOP Residential Award of Excellence.
