Director of Operations
Andrea Martinez is the Director of Operations at Price Land & Development Group. Prior to joining Price Land & Development Group in June 2017, Andrea spent 10 years managing and overseeing strategic marketing for the New Mexico Division of PulteGroup (Pulte, Centex and Del Webb brands) where she was responsible for market and consumer research, proposals, feasibilities, RFPs, pricing analysis, quantitative and qualitative market analysis, and annual Division Strategic Plans for both Albuquerque and Santa Fe operations.
Andrea worked daily with spreadsheets and internal / external databases to research and analyze market conditions to maximize revenue through monthly and weekly reports. In addition, she computed and interpreted raw data into various reports and presentations recommending future strategy and capital investment to upper management. Andrea worked closely with Division President, VP Land and VP Finance to assess pricing, forecasts, budgets, and strategy.
Ms. Martinez also worked with Area and National marketing teams to assess collateral and campaign strategies by consumer group and collaborated with all departments to better understand and serve the targeted consumer while maximizing revenue and creating consumer awareness. Andrea has facilitated several focus groups over the years with realtors and consumer groups to better understand consumer segmentation, buyer behavior, pricing and geographic segmentation.
Through strenuous due diligence and market analytics and segmentation, Ms. Martinez worked closely with Mr. Price to bring over 2,000 lots to the market in the last 5 years, including Las Soleras in Santa Fe which represents the first Pulte Branded community and the best-selling community in the City of Santa Fe; as well as Mirehaven, featuring the state’s first Del Webb and the best-selling master plan in the City of Albuquerque and the state of New Mexico. Ms. Martinez’ understanding of consumer and market dynamics is evidenced by the successful executions of these master plans which have gained universal acceptance and appeal across various demographic segments and demonstrated strong financial performance.
Andrea collaborated regularly with National Vice President of Market Intelligence and Division President to ensure division was aligned with national and company strategies and was responsible for communicating market strategy and updates to division.
Andrea is an Albuquerque native and a UNM alumni. When she’s not writing memo’s, building charts, or analyzing databases, she enjoys traveling, painting, drawing, reading, yoga, and nature.
